McClintock has no spine, he's just preaching to his choir.

Wow, chill out hyper-partisan. War's over. Incedentally that meltdown disproves the whole "Arnold supporters aren't vicious anymore like Tom supporters are" talking point. (You can finally exhale now Tamsey.)

it's very clear after watching O'Reilly tonight that he wouldn't be doing anything differently than what Arnold is currently doing.

OK.

McClintock sees the world through black and white glasses and so do many of his followers.

Hmmm, speaking of not having your facts Tempest, make those two sentiments jive. If the only thing he has is words and no power, and he's saying things that sound just like the Gov, how is he seeing things through black and white glasses? He hasn't attacked the Gov, sounds like him supposedly, yet the mention of his name makes you go non-linear. (The metaphores you've mixes here Ringo are "rose colored glasses" for optimism and "seeing the world in black and white" for closemindedness, FYI.) I honestly don't understand you guys hatred of this lowly State Senator's name, and I never did. Its one of the main reasons I defended Tom at the time, and still do when I see this. Its derrogatory comments like "preaching to his choir" that you people must understand consistently set off alarm bells for Conservatives. Exactly what is his choir and how is that different from what his detractors believe? I say conservatives because language like that obviously makes us wonder if you are that.

More importantly, Tom lost, Arnold won, what are you afraid of if the guy remains popular anyways? Is it pride because you supported him? The "I told you so's"? Those are silly reasons to take sides on given the enormous problems that face CA, and Tom is just another voice putting forth OUR ideas in this troubling time, right?

Hey, Red... you're back under your old persona? Or should I say "older"? You're twisting statements and throwing out strawmen here. Please show me one post where I "hate" (your word put in red) McClintock? I was actually happy to hear he was going on O'Reilly as I thought he could pull together more support from the public against the Mayor. I have very little problem with McClintock, he's just being a politician. My only problem is with McClintock supporters on this site who continuously throw out poisonous comments toward freepers who supported the "rightward most viable candidate" to quote WF Buckley.

Aside from how unbelievably nasty supposed "conservatives" can be, that garbage makes the site looks as rabid and brainless as DU. And yes, your strawmen were silly which is why you used them. Read your last paragraph again... it suits you and your pals to a "T". Using big problems that California is facing to say "I told you so" regarding recall candidates. Some folks here seem almost excited when another problem gets in Arnold's way. That's just so.... "Democrat".

Sorry no meltdown. I'm just throwing some ice on the delusional little cheerleaders that under the impression that their unelected hero would've stormed the gates of SF and slain the evil dragon errr I mean mayor of SF.

As for the rest of it, I'll assume that you'll understand what a metaphor is when I point it out.
