Personally Joe Conason and the rest of the "he's a war hero! He served his country" crowd can all cram it! Theres a big difference between what one has sacrificed FOR his country and what one does TO his country. Cleland and Kerry have done far more harm to America then they ever did to serve for America. (snicker)--I can recognize Joe Conason's overwrought prose from blocks away; it's sort of a combo of sixties-era comic-book grandiosity and Mrs. Randcliffe's Victorian constructions. It's never "writing" or "rhetoric"--it's always "screed."

Ann Coulter is fine and is entitled to her opinion.
It's the over-sensitive easily brainwashed individuals who tkae her words out of context. Usually with the assistance of some liberal overseer though that likes to portray her insight as vitiriol.
