How does a woman of her means not know about his womanizing in the past? What would make her think it was not continuing?
Unfortunately, I think a lot of women in her social and financial strata look the other way, and conintue on with their lives. After all, they do go to the best parties.
But, the other part of that agreement is their man had better not EVER humiliate them with a public scandal. That is where the "hell hath no fury like a women scorned (or humiliated) comes into play.

I understand that such arrangements exist but those that I know about are based on the fact that the husband has money or power or both. Here she has both money and power and does not need him for that. Furthermore, she has voiced her opinion in public about the consequences of infidelity. She will not say a peep here other than that of supportive wife. Can you say hypocrit?
