Let's make a different assumption. A politician fools around with young stuff. While morally repulsive, it may not be fatal in the post-Clinton era.

That was true until the categorical denial. Thanks to Clinton, he wasn't allowed to get away with the non-denial denial. Now he's on the record categorically denying the affair. If evidence is found, he's toast.

YEah, I don't think Clinton made it all OK. I think Clinton made a lot of people think: "If I had known then what I know now I never would have elected him."
