Was he a sitting newsman with Fox during those eight years? If not, why would he bring it up now?

James Rosen never makes a favorable comment about President Bush. It is pretty obvious what his politics are, he should be on CNN.
Brit Hume tells it like it is and should be given much more air time.

I heard him say that the purpose of this trip was to draw attention away from Bush's service record with the National Guard, a subject which Bush, himself brought up.
