I was just reminding you that, the verse and prophecy are ALREADY FULFILLED ADEQUATELY by the Islamic abomination that has been on the Mount now for 1313 years. Thus, as an old pastor of mine already long with the Lord used to say, we ought not to set up HURDLES FOR GOD.

If the Lord wishes, he could come back tonight, and that verse would have found no fulfillment except for the hideous travesty that has been on the Mount for so long already.

what I think *may* happen, and this is just my $.02 worth, is that the worldwide terror, mostly caused by Islam, will necessitate the development of worldwide "police" and "military" forces ... mix into the fact that religious ideaologies such as we know of are inherently opposed, some advocating violence (Islam) and more Islamic states are pursuing nuclear weapons ... there may be dreadful battles, and definitely will be as the Lord said the End Times would be far worse than anything ever seen on the Earth at any time, nor would it ever be equalled ... worse than World War II ... frightening possibilities ... and once again, eradication of the Jew (just as Hitler proposed) will be a central theme ...

futher, Israel seems to be guaranteed some sort of "peace and safety" by the False Messiah Antichrist, unfortuntely deceiving many of them ... what he has hidden in his heart is Satan's most diabolical method to destroy them and he will undoubtedly capitalize on anti-Jewish sentiment to form armies against them ... thus the siege against Israel in Zechariah 12, 13, and 14 and the culmination in Ezek 39 and Revelation 19 ... the armies arrayed against Israel (and some are fighting each other it seems) are put down by the Lord when they turn to attack Him in Revelation 19 too ...

An interesting book is "The Samson Option" by Seymour Hersh ... very good reading ...
