Jerusalem Wall Collapse Sparks Jewish-Muslim Row: MUSLIMS CONTINUE ATTEMPT TO ERASE JEWISH HISTORY

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The collapse of part of Jerusalem's Western Wall during a rare snowstorm sparked a row between Jewish and Muslim clerics Sunday as one rabbi called it a miracle no worshippers were hurt.

The collapse late Saturday of an 800-year-old embankment next to where Jewish women pray at the site commonly known as the "wailing wall" sent people fleeing from tumbling rocks.

The Muslim authority for the area, the Waqf, blamed Israeli building work nearby for the problem; but an Israeli architect said construction by Arabs was making the wall unstable.

"It's a miracle nobody was hurt," said rabbi Shmuel Rabinovich, blaming time and the weather for the collapse.

Engineers were also looking at whether a small earthquake last week might have played a part in the incident. Israeli police kept people away from the site Sunday.

The head of the Waqf, whose authority includes the Al-Aqsa mosque above the wall, said it had been complaining about Israeli renovations of the Western Wall plaza for some time.

"We've been saying it could cause problems," said Adnan al-Husseini.

Israeli archaeologist Eilat Mazar said it was the fifth time in two years that parts of the walls had begun to crumble, buckle or crack as a result of what she called unsupervised construction by the Waqf -- a charge the Muslim clerics deny.

"What concerns me most is the Temple Mount itself is in danger of collapsing...The earthquake has certainly done more damage but nobody goes to check," she told Reuters.

Jewish women worship separately from men and Rabinovich said partitions would be set up in the men's section to allow women to pray there until their area was made safe after the collapse.

New Yorker Frady Schwartz, praying at the wall Sunday, was unfazed; she said with a shrug: "It's in God's hands."

Plurals in Hebrew mean TWO, unless some other number or a word such as Many, is given.

Not really. Nouns in Hebrew can be singular, dual, or plural. Singular = one. Dual = two. Plural = more than one (can be two or three or many). You have to check the context.

God has a sense of humor, the little termites digging under the foundations in King Solomons stables, attempting to erase any trace of Jewish history, have made the entire mount unstable. Including both Mosques squatting on top of it where they don't belong.

The dome of one Musque is cracking like an egg shell, it's the funniest laugh I have had in a long time.

God has a sense of humor, the little muslim termites have been digging under the mount to erase all trace of Jewish history, as is their lying custom. Build a mosque on someone else's holy ground and claim it was always theirs.

Now they have made the mount so unstable that their two mosques, squatting where they don't belong, are in danger of collapse. The dome of one is cracking like an egg shell. It's the best laugh I have had in a long time.

show me where in the bible it says "the temple would be rebuilt, not necessarily on the exact spot." ?

Well, the Temple described in Ezekiel 40-48 is not built on the Temple Mount, and it serves its purpose. I personally think the new Temple will be built on the Temple Mount, but the Scriptures do not REQUIRE it to be built there.

If you are looking at Islam you may also want to look at the slaughter of the 800 males of the Bani Coreitza tribe of Jews after they had surrendered to Muhammad. Keeping one Jewess for his concubine he had the remainder of the women of the tribe sold off as slaves - trading them for horses so he could develop his cavalry.

Although, once he arrived in Medina Muhammad began to treat the Jews savagely, nothing in the Koran speaks out in general. But to the Muslims, Muhammad was the perfect acting man and his actions are worthy of emulation.

Therefore, muslims can point to the Koran and say theirs is the religion of peace while emulating the actions of Muhammad and slaughtering Jews.

Zechariah 6: 8,12,15 say that Tzemakh will build the Temple. Is this the Messiah, or is it George Bush?

It actually refers to the Messiah. Tzemakh is translated either Branch or Shoot. Bush maybe a little bit of a stretch but still it is interesting as GWB's Presidency is often referred to as being his father's Presdiency continued after a two term break under Clinton.

Also good Bible scholars will tell you that most of the prophecies in the Bible has dual fulfillments. That is, one that is fulled initially then later being fulfilled in reality. So perhaps if Bush gets reelected for a second term there could be a slight chance of this being fulfilled. But ultimately, this prophecies refers to the Messiah who will be the offshoot of David's houise which was cut down since the Babylonian exile, so a small shoot from the root of Jesse will be the Messiah. However we must also realise that the Messiah will be more than just a human being he will also be the Son of God as well as the Son of David. After all David said in one of His psalms "The LORD (JHWH) said to my Lord sit at My right hand" So if the Messiah is to be David's son why does David here calls Him Lord? Because he is the son of GOD.
