I thought about that. But I don't think Drudge would risk another lawsuit a la Sid vicious. You gotta remember, Drudge reported what OTHER reporters were doing -- and got three of them to confirm the Clark statement. I suspect he wanted to be 100 percent sure he was on to something before reporting it.

I think Drudge is reporting what he is getting his hands on.
Now who is putting things within his reach, I have no idea.
But the baby story is a good warning, isn't it?
