Well, we know now why the networks avoided this story. I kept wondering how anyone thought that, absent the support of this young woman, this story was going to lead to anything but a lawsuit.

Well, what would you prefer her to do? She's stayed away from the center of the controversy - not putting herself out in the middle of it like Clinton's women. Remember Monica on SNL and Paula's press conferences? Instead, Polier has simply stayed where she was and largely ignored the controversy. Then, when her picture is being published and her name is being smeared, she sends a letter. She doesn't come out with a huge story, she simply sends a letter and goes on about her way.

Doing nothing is conducting herself. That's what you're missing here.
