maybe youth looking at colleges should really think about what they want and what kind of faculty their gonna get. If there up for the challenge have at it. If not, find a school thats gonna fit theirs ideas. Having professors that you like is important.

There is actually a college guide to that effect: Choosing the Right College: The Whole Truth About America’s Top Schools (2004 National Review Edition)

I used another book by William F. Buckley, Jr., when I was going through the application process. I can't remember the exact title, and I no longer have my copy, but it's a book about finding conservative universities, published by National Review.

Unfortunately I didn't follow the advice in the book, and chose another college. I went through the same troubles with liberal professors when I was in college. Several of us got tired of keeping quiet, and organized the Bucknell Conservatives Club. The club continues to publish a newspaper, the counterweight. Check it all out at www.bucknellconservatives.org.
I am presently in law school at a Jesuit university, and I still encounter heavy bias, though not as bad as at Bucknell. One of my professors said something like, "....won't happen until the presidency of Dr. Dean" (clearly, this was several weeks ago). Anyway, kids, keep your head held high and fight the good fight ..... unless you want to get As, in which case, keep you head down and tell them what they want to hear.

Not to be a pain in the %&=, but there is one more thing I'd like to point out. This essay contains many important points, but it is also full of grammatical errors and organizational problems. In order to make a poweful argument, we must always show that we are more intelligent, or at least more prepared and thorough, than our adversary.
