I think that he did not waiver at all from his convictions. he never does.
He certainly could change his mind about some topics, but immigration is not one of them IMO.
He believes that he has a answer to some of the current problems and wants to implement them if he can.
He did not shat anyone, and to deny the good accomplishments and the leadership he has shown over that past three years over one issue is just plain wrong headed.
One can never expect aggreement on all policy aspects. It is a impossibility.
I don't expect to and have been disapointed on several fronts, but I want him to get another four years to make some of them right and I think he will.
