We are in agreement on this.

I think he got the message as the State of the Union Speech indicated.

He did not promise the usual bunch of candy.

Well, it's nice we agree. However that wasn't the point of my post. Agreeing that Bush has good points doesn't advance the discussion.

What of Bush on the issue? He's seen first hand the negatives that far outweighs whatever benefits there may be to unchecked and illegal immigration. Why is he pushing for open door legalization, for unchecked levels of new 'migrants'?
