Yup. I've read about those...but, I don't think there were enough humans around to do all that killing of so many species.

Yes, I would agree with you totally there. If millions of Indians (Pre-European introduction of smallpox, etc. could not kill of the buffalo with their tactics of driving whole heards over cliffs, a few thousand Clovis hunters wouldn't have much dented the large glacial and post-glacial animals (no matter how skillful they were). The climate changes were massive enough to trigger extinctions without our help.
