Just a question........a serious one. Are you for or against supporting the military?

From a previous post to you, that you obviously didn't read.

Do you, or do you not support the U.S. military? Is it important to you that the military remain equipped and strong, or is it of little consequence in your view.

This is a serious question, because, as a member of a military family, I have a lot at stake, as does this entire country, if we throw the country back into the hands of a leftist who hates the military.

A bit naive as questions go.

Sure.. I support a strong defense for our nation.

I support those who serve. (I was one of them myself)

Does this mean I unconditionally support every action the president of the United States chooses to involve out military in?

No, it does not.

I think we had every reason to be in Afghanistan.

It was a nation which knowingly harbored those who attacked citizens of the United States, and planned further attacks. In fact, I believe our presence in Afghanistan should have been larger.

As for Iraq, I believe we had no business there. (and that we will ultimately pay a heavy toll for our involvement.) Likewise I believe we had no business in the Balkans.
