The government will immediately take steps to prevent such attacks from citizens to go about.Doubt that. I don't recall roving military vehicles after 9/11. Don't even recall military unit's in play other than national defense.

Yeah, but I think people were more ignorant on 9/11 as to who the enemy was. If it happens again, we will remember who it was - the militant Islamic entity.

The government may act and in fact the highest terror alert level does mention transporation restrictions. However, the National Guard has significant forces overseas. It's going to be real hard to control things, especially in the chaos.
Hell, they can't even find ONE sniper (the freeway sniper). What's it been 3 months? 20+ shootings?
