Hi Howlin! York just made a point that I agree with. Few minds that have already been made up were changed, but some of those on the fence may now support the President.

I thing W was talking to "everyman" not Russert.

I saw it and he answered the questions in a very straight forward manner.

I saw only the last 20 minutes or so but he did okay but not brilliant, imo. He was his normal self..... sly wit, searching for words at times, stammering over some of them but that is President Bush. Nothing new in that nor that bad. This was one interview 268 days out and won't be seen nor remembered by a lot of the electorate one way or the other.

I thought it was his best one on one uinterview I've seen him do, did he studder.... Sure, but he does that all the time. Was he tripped up by Timmy (I'm for Kerry) Russert? ............ NO. Did he seem like he was honest and not dodging the wuestions? .............. NO. All in all I think he won over sokme of those who have been watching and listening to the constant attacks he has been under. Will he pear off any of those who hate him here and on the left? (Same anyway) ......... NO. they live to hate.

On a scale from 1 - 100 I would give it a 90
