Remember it is just that Bush policies; it is the Congress that will decide on any of the Bush proposals and you have the right to demand your elected listen to your opinions and act on them. Don't blame the President for every little wrinkle, you have the right and the duty to see to it Congress does the right thing.

Indeed, it is a no brainer - Bush is the right man for these times both here at home and abroad.

Round off error. It should go out another decimal place or so, but it doesn't.

nicmarlo: If you're undecided about voting for Bush, then it's a vote for the democrats...obviously, no third party will win. So no vote for Bush IS a vote for the Rats.

carpio: Nothing like a good open exchange of ideas. I just love the "If you don't vote for Bush you are a traitor to the country" Bunch. Their idea of a brisk intellectual exchange is to beat someone with a Barrel Stave if they catch them having an unorthodox (to them) idea.

Happygal: I have a real problem with this post.....don't ever suggest that a person should be brow beaten into voting for the two front runners in a five horse race.

You replies border hysterics. What I stated is nothing but facts and the reality. What third party has ever won the presidency in your lives? What third party candidate has any likelihood of winning this race? Given the facts and that reality, there will be a winner from the Rats (let's say it's Kerry) or Bush. A vote to any other person will dwindle the number of votes for one of those two people.

I want to make sure Kerry doesn't win. And just because I don't agree with EVERYTHING Bush has done, he's still better for this country than a socialist who's the leader of a socialist party. Voting against Bush has the same effect as voting socialist. And THAT's the reality of the outcome.

I'm not at all happy with a lot of the domestic spending that's going on. As much as possible, increased spending on discretionary programs should be limited. The worst offense, of course, is the one you mentioned, Medicare. I'm not prepared, however, to put a Democrat in the WH over this particular issue. It would be foolhardy. If anyone here thinks our safety would be the same or better, or the spennding by the Federal governemnt would be the same or better, they are in denial. Spending woud go up, and so would taxes. A lot. And we'd get more judges who would cut taxpayers out of the loop on important issues. No thanks.

There is only one issue in this election... who will best protect us from the Islamic Extremists who want to kill us.

The answer is obvious.

Actually the answer is not obvious. George Bush didn't protect us against 9-11, an obvious act of terrorism that killed thousands of people. When Timothy McVeigh assisted in the bombing of Murray Federal Building in Oklahoma City, a Demoncat responded in a far less Draconian fashion than Bush, and we haven't had any repeats of McVeigh's actions. Clinton didn't Federalize 70,000 private citizens to routinely accost American Citizens while allowing those who meet the profile of terrorist board without any inconvenience. Clinton also didn't push through this Stasi modeled police-state program ironically named "The Patriot Act". Bush fought tooth and nail to make sure that practical solutions to repeated 9-11 attacks would be practically impossible to implement. Instead Bush insisted that instead of arming the pilots, that worthless Air Marshals will be on board < 2% of flights to give guns to would-be terrorists, and if that failed, Bush would rather send a few sidewinders into the side of an airliner to guarentee the deaths of everyone on board and to leave a permanent reminder of this "Compassionate Conservatism" by leaving a smoldering crater in the ground.

There is still no link between Iraq and the security of this nation. There is plenty of speculation about WMD, and I suspect that Germany and/or France traded with Saddam the gasses he used on the Kurds. 15 of the 19 Terrorists came from Saudi Arabia, but instead of weening ourselves from dependance on that terrorist group, we topple a sadistic megalomaniac in Iraq who was previously menacing only his immediate neighbors, not the US.

North Korea is a true menace, much greater than one that Iraq posed, yet we still coddle the midget dictator there, and still provide him with the tools to make WMD of the glow-in-the-dark kind.

China actually attacked one of our aircraft, held our soldiers hostage, and stole our snooping technology - and George Bush vetoed any legislation that would keep them from keeping MFN status due to their belligerance. So to this very day, China can spread WMD to North Korea, Iran and any other client of their weaponry, and the US stands idly by. Furthermore, Boeing China has been given special dispensation by George Bush himself, overriding the prohibition of exporting sensitive military technology, to acquire computer hardware to improve their missile guidance systems. Bush and Boeing is exactly the same as Clinton and Loral.

All the while we are having this war on terrorism, George Bush is also fighting most of his constituents, and many of his party politicians in Congress to grant amensty to terroists, illegal alens, and anyone else who manages to smuggle themselves in this country before the grand day when he stands out in the field yelling "Everyone Set Free!" ending Phase One of Hide-n-Seek and entering a whole new escalated version of Hide-n-Seek. If security requires strong borders, then Bush is facilitating the destruction of our security.

But there are other things in regards to security. Financial security, and this president has been the worst one in all of my history in working to destroy American's financial security. There is no good reason to elevate the confiscation and wealth transfer between the generations as Bush is doing. He is dividing the country up between the older Pill Popper Generation, and the younger generation who will be forced by the police powers of the State to cough up most of their earnings to fuel a no horizons socialist scheme. If this country is to follow the lunatic ideas of this profligate money spender, then We The People will be spending all of our money on providing the World with medicine, providing Mexican citizens with Social Security, guarenteeing loans to Turd World Nations so that they can mount up competitive forces to steal even more of our jobs, forever giving even more money to the tin-horn dictators and banana republics comprising most of the United Nations, and this reckless diversion of much needed money to be invested in America being sent instead to a country where no thinking entrepreneur would waste a penny of investment - especially in a nation that takes pride in blowing things up. George Bush is stealing your money that you could be using to invest in America, and is squandering on people who hate us, have no idea what they will do with the money, and in a year or two will blow the buildings up anyway as a form of protest.

George Bush is also making the world safe for Cambodian prostitutes by ensuring that they will have longer lives to help continue the spread of AIDS to their johns. Is America doing so well now that we can continue to dump $15 billion MORE into the dark continent that still maintains more slaves than were ever brought to the US, still has war lords waiting at the docks to confiscate all aid and distribute it in a decidedly profitable manner.

If the choice is so obvious, then why can only the hopelessly deluded see it?

The Democrats are maybe one Suprememe Court Justice away from ushering in complete 100% socialism and world government. Give them two and it's all over for America as we know it.

Yeah, we sure don't want another Sandra Day O'Connor, a David Souter, or a Stephen Breyer on the bench.

Reason #1: the Constitutional Marriage Amendment. What happened in Massachusetts this past week is now the major threat to American Civilization

Yeah, we can never do the right thing and impeach these out-of-control justices. Better to convert the Constitution from a document restricting government to one that restricts only We The People.

Reason #2: The War on Terror, despite the President's obsession with the Road Map folly.

The War on Terror has transformed into an objective, and is now a Slogan without meaning. Karl Rove has succeeded in making his own empty phrase that is supposed to stop the mouths of all opposition. This is greater than "Do it For the Children"®, "We Need to Level the Playing Field"®, and the universal catch-all "It is Only Fair"®. Now absolutely nothing can be discussed because all it takes is for some Bushbot to play the "War On Terror" card, just like Jesse Jackson is eager to throw down the "Race Card".

Its the Wiemar Republic all over again.

#1 and #2 outweigh Bush's resolute failure to enforce our immigration laws ahgainst Illegals, and his proposed Amnesty.

So you are willing to bet on an empty slogan, empty promise, and a botched plan to right wrongs for the certainty of a destroyed education, medical and pension system? So you feel that it is OK to trade in the occasional Sodomite blasphemy of "Marriage" that is not marriage for the certain destruction of our language, borders and culture? Talk about misplaced priorities. You are perseverating about a cat scratch on your arm, while your leg is being torn off.

So the Pill Popper Program is not a socialist program? So the Farm Aid, and the Federalization of the public school system is not socialism? So the destruction of our borders, language, and culture is not a socialist scheme? I strongly recommend you read the Socialist/Humanist/Communist Manifestos (pick one, any one) and tell me where George Bush differs. Voting for George Bush again is an act of permanently converting the GOP into a socialist party. For if hard-core socialists like George Bush can win a second term by so-called conservative who fear the BogieMan in the closet, then what motivation is there in running a conservative or even a moderate? Bush make Clinton look like a conservative (albeit a pervert).

Yeah, sure; that's a real intelligent analysis.

Misstating what I said, and making up strawmen arguments like you are "isn't a real intelligent analysis" either.

I'll mark you down as a person who feels that intergenerational wealth transfer is not socialism.

Besides the temporary token reduction in income taxes (recovered in other sectors by the raising of many fees and regulations - and don't forget the greatest hidden tax - inflation) what has Bush done that is not socialist or worse, globalist?

No, you brought up many problems with our country, i.e., federalized schooling, borders, language, culture breakdown, Medicare, etc. Bush didn't implement or cause any of them...as you well know. They have existed from long ago. Gray Davis, a Rat, is to blame for what's gone on in California, passing bills which give free tuition, for example, to illegal aliens. The liberal judges there overturning laws the people made about speaking English. But, you already knew that Bush had NOTHING to do with any of that.

I'll mark you down as a person who feels that intergenerational wealth transfer is not socialism.

Yes, please do that. Families who work hard to amass wealth are entitled to give it to whom they please. It's THEIRS, not mine and not the government's.

Besides the temporary token reduction in income taxes (recovered in other sectors by the raising of many fees and regulations - and don't forget the greatest hidden tax - inflation) what has Bush done that is not socialist or worse, globalist?

The income tax reduction was no "token." That was sound economics. He's wanting to get the death penalty tax rescinded, something that other Republicans have been trying to do for years, i.e., Scott McInnis of Colorado. He's been trying, for years, to get conservative judges on the bench, i.e., Estrada and Pickering, but the liberal socialist senators have refused to allow them be put to a vote by the full senate....and you know, Pickering was just recess-appointed.

You are aware that this country isn't run by a dictator, aren't you? That means that Bush cannot do anything as a ruler; Congress makes the laws; liberal judges have been making them from the bench, for years now, destroying our republic. Special interest groups and their money have enabled them to ruin many parts of our country where there are also liberal socialists, turning our forests into ridiculous protected areas, thereby resulting in infernos across the western landscape. I recall, finally, after the last burn-out in California that the Rat senators were finally forced to sign a bill that Bush had wanted signed since he took office.

There's also the matter of ANWR, but, again, the liberal socialist senators, i.e., Dashole, are obstructing this from happening; they think that demand should be reduced, not supply; so, they refuse to allow drilling in Alaska which would get us more independent from Saudi oil...another "little something" that Bush has been trying to get through.

I guess you've forgotten who to blame in your zeal of campaigning against the President.

Quit lying. This is so pathetic. Bush asked, pushed, and signed [socialist] Kennedy's Education Bill. Furthermore, the Amensty Program is being pushed for by Bush. Bush also made as part of his campaign pledge to start a Pill Popper Program designed to enslave the young to medicate the old. So wake up and smell the Socialist's hot breath on your neck. Yes we have had these kinds of programs, but instead of reducing or eliminating them (like a conservative ought) he did the exact opposite and adopted the socialist's and anti-American and anti-constitutional stance and made these programs even more liberty robbing.

The liberal judges there overturning laws the people made about speaking English. But, you already knew that Bush had NOTHING to do with any of that.

You are engaging in cheap misdirection, typical of the liberals who use the Method of Finger Pointing to distract one's attention from the current perveyor of evil to those in the past. Though it is true that there exists liberal judges who are working their own evil, they don't need to be assisted and endorsed for their treason by George Bush's active attempts to tear down our borders, language and culture via the Amnesty Program. The President, in several speeches declared these felons as "honest, hard working people with strong family values." In doing so, he was condemning Americans by suggesting that by-and-large we are dishonest, lazy and perverted, and the introduction of uneducated and poorly civilized Mexicans is an improvement to this country.

He also lied in these statements because illegal aliens are overrepresented in welfare receipts, prison population, and the chronically unemployed. Why would he lie? Because he knew that mind numbed sychophants would pooh pooh this scandal merely because he is wearing an 'R' jersey, and even Satan himself is better than the Bogie Man in the closet wearing a 'D' jersey.

Yes, please do that. Families who work hard to amass wealth are entitled to give it to whom they please

But Bush's policies are in defiance to that principle where a person can decide what to do with their money. Your Messiah has decreed by fiat that your money needs to be taken from you and routed to wherever the politicians feel benefits them the most. The temporary repeal of the "Death Tax" is sophistic manipulation where this president takes advantage of your naivete and ignorance of basic civics. The president cannot obligate, by law, future sessions of Congress in terms of taxation. Next year, Congress can vote for the repeal of the Death Tax or after a few more years, by doing absolutely nothing, the Death Tax will sunset and be no more. So why you are dancing in the streets over a few hundred dollars (which is a start); you are missing the fact that a few thousand dollars have been stolen from you (more depending on the size of your bank accounts) through inflation brought upon by reckless spending. Every dollar spent above and beyond what is collected is money that is printed. Our Federal Reserve Notes are fiat currency and are printed with absolutely nothing but "The Good Faith of the Government" to back it up. The nations of this world have rejected the "Good Faith" of this nation and that is why the dollar is plummeting in value to every other currency in the world (that is not pegged to the USD).

So what you are really saying is that you want to be robbed, but you don't want to know that you are being robbed. Theft of your savings and the devalueing your labor is OK as long as you are deceived by someone more clever than you.

Drift asleep, my friend. Drift asleep. Anasthesia is a great thing to lessen the pain.

I understand that the Educational Bill is the one that the Rats aren't very happy with....it demands that teachers be responsible for doing a good job teaching. The NEA isn't too happy with this program, at all. I don't believe that the "No Child Left Behind" program is the end-all for education, but it sure has the Rats all up in arms and the NEA pissed off. Why would that be, if it really were pro-socialist in design? Bush has campaigned on getting the voucher programs implemented, so that a parent can decide where to place their children....it's the Rats who are against that.

George Bush's active attempts to tear down our borders, language and culture via the Amnesty Program. The President, in several speeches declared these felons as "honest, hard working people with strong family values."

I don't agree with Bush on his Amnesty program....but I agreed less with Clinton's, who just said, we'll just make all of you Americans, go ahead and cut in line...you're already here, we don't care, stay and drain our country by not working at all and take the Medicare that the citizens have paid into...Bush hasn't done that, has he?

Your Messiah has decreed by fiat that your money needs to be taken from you and routed to wherever the politicians feel benefits them the most. Sorry, just because I will vote for Bush doesn't mean I call him my Mesiah...nice try.

The death tax...yes, it's up to Congress, isn't it? Not Bush. But, I'm very glad Bush, during his State of the Union Address went over their heads, declaring to the people, that Congress MUST keep that in force.

I understand that the Educational Bill is the one that the Rats aren't very happy with...

Why? The 'Rats wrote it! The only liberal complaint about the "No Child Left With A Mind" program is that it "didn't go far enough". In fact, that it is the matra of all of the leftists who have nothing of substance against Bush's spending programs so essentially they are using the protest formula "If George spends $X billion, we will instantly complain that he should have spent $X+1 billion.

I spoke with conservative teachers who are facing this plan of stupidity from Washington. Nevermind the fact that this is federalizing a local issue (clearly the neo-cons no longer care for Jeffersonian strict constructionism), but what is happening is that the government is assuming that everyone is equally capable, and all of the previous idiotic programs have born no negative consequences. This is the pinnacle of government foolishness compounded by head-in-the-sand oblivion in that they pretend that illegal aliens still in ESL programs, years and years of dummied down education that emphasizes Look Say Reading, outcome based education, and other insults to common sense will magically disappear - the entire culture of Deweyism evaporates as soon as the ink on the law dries, and every single parent and guardian will automatically care about their children's education, that every bad teacher absorbed into the system and immersed in NEA anti-education tactics will instantly adopt and implement time proven teaching methods; and every child henceforth with pass all of their tests honestly; is the biggest crock of festering garbage I have smelled in a long time.

This same asinine program was adopted in Texas with the TAAS test, and it has been an utter failure. The teachers teach the test and little more. The entire year is spent being able to parrot a bunch of memorized answers sufficient so that the teacher and the school system can still get their grants and subsidies. What you are pleased as punch to see is a system where uncircumsised Philistines bureaucrats in Washington (probably soon to be made up exclusively of God-haters, queers, racists and Marxists) dictate what a "valid" education is. I suspect you imagine that these tests will remain apolitical. No more local control, every questionable program will be declared to be vital in complying with the dictates out of Washington. Then you have the wonderful tradition of grade inflation - only this time with a vengeance. No longer will grades mean anything, it is nothing more than an exercise in cooking the books since MONEY is (and always has been) the focus, not the education of the little reprobates.

But I believe the whole conservative ideology has been lost on people like you, for now you are apologizing for the existance of Jimmy Carter's socialist time bomb (DoEd began its wretched life in May 4, 1980) and think nothing about the reason for its being. Reagan wanted to kill the DoEd - you are praising and worshipping Bush for not only maintaining it, but by all accounts expanding its budget more than any other president since the prorgam's inception

I thank you for patiently revealing the new Republican Party, one that differs in no way whatsoever from the Socialist or the recent Demoncat party.

Every day, in every way, the John Birchers are being proven right.

I posted this on the Arkansas board last night:

I cannot believe I am hearing (supposedly) Bush voters talking about voting for a democRAT because they are P.Oed about a few of Bush's UNIMPLANTED plans.

Why? Because Bush is spending our money? Like the democRaTS won't tax and spend even more? Do any of you remember just how Clinton cut the deficit? Probably not.

Why? Because the democRATS have suddenly discovered they have a “real” general in the mix now? A general that was FIRED by none other than Bill Clinton, the great leader of foreign affairs because he once called out the Arkansas National Guard?

Yeah, right. Let’s all vote for Kerry, Dean, or better Hillary, instead. Oh yes, let’s “teach Bush a lesson” by throwing out the ONLY president that has demonstrated he will stand up to foreign powers that have already attacked the United States!

By all means, let’s put a Hillary puppet, or even the known MARXIST herself as leader of the free world. At least Hillary is not a foreign born communist/Marxist, and can destroy what is left of the Constitution the first day in office.

The same Hillary, a so-called “Democrat” who came close to destroying our health care system, the finest in the world, AS FIRST LADY before Bill even got the presidential seat warm.

Kerry, a jerk so timid he threw someone else’s war medals over the White House fence. A man who won’t even put his name on legislation because it may go against the other democRAT/communists in the Senate.

A man who, in all probability wouldn’t SUGGEST giving ILLEGAL aliens amnesty, but would just go ahead and DO it – “with the stroke of a pen, it’s law!”

Dean? He is already out of it. He couldn’t stand up to a school yard bully, much less someone like Osama bin Laden or Saddam or any of the two-bit dictators of barefoot nations who are living off the U.S. taxpayer’s teat already.

Oh, I forgot. Dean actually did stand up to a 66 year old man in the back of the room who criticized him while he was protected by bodyguards.

Think it can’t get any worse? Yeah, let’s “teach Bush a lesson” and put in a TRUE communist or Marxist in as President!

Have you forgotten the republicrats and disenfranchised Republicans “taught Bush 41 a lesson,” and look what we got for that lesson!

Bill and Hillary!

One final thought. While I admire the Constitution Party and for what it stands, until they become an uncorrupted power at the LOCAL level, they are useless, unless you like what Perot did.
