I had to write the author of this piece of tripe. Here's what I wrote:

As a proud, conservative American, I am totally disgusted with articles like yours which continually knock the USA and our president, though I'm not the least surprised. As you even hinted, Canada's main role in life seems to be criticizing its mightier neighbor. We're saddened by the wrath that many Canadians feel toward us and him, though we're used to hearing this from cowardly, socialist-leaning countries like France and Germany (you're not keeping very good company, I must say). Maybe Martin will try to promote better relations between the two countries. By the way, I'm pretty sure Bush will be reelected in November. John Kerry is too dull, too liberal and too much of a wimp on national security, so it's doubtful that the majority of Americans will elect him. I suggest you accept the inevitable and get on with your lives.

P.S. Kudos to the 15% of the Canadians that would reelect Bush! I haven't given up on my neighbors up north, I just realize that the majority of you have been warped by liberalism. It'll do it every time.

Molson maybe? You can say what you want about Canucks but they do make great beer. Alcohol content usually around 6% (or higher), beats the crap out of the 3.2, OK 4%, swizzle that passes for beer down here ... Bud Lite anyone? How about a real beer like a Molson or Labatt Blue ... eh?

Lived in Germany for 3 years...loved the beer there. Visited Australia a couple of times...the beer was great. Had relatives bring beer down from Canada...Loved 'em for it. Went on vacation down in Mexico....did I mention what great beer they had? Came home...popped a Bud Light. Ain't beer great.

"Smug little smile," huh? Well, maybe he's being a bit modest; if I was the leader of the world's only superpower nation, I'd have a smug BIG smile.

As for the Canadians and the Eurotrash quoted in this bit, forgive me if I think that everything they opine is motivated by petty jealousy.

I'm sure that President Bush doesn't ever think about them. As he told that fella in a crowd a couple years ago, "Who cares what you think?"

The Canadians I know like W. I guess that is anecdotal, since I don't know the sample population of Canadians that were polled. Never the less, to all the Canadians that hate Bush, my forcefully expelled flatulence is aimed in your direction.

I've always heard that gun ownership in Canada is high. What makes you think they can't own guns?

We have Good Friends from around Toronto--My Wife & I were Married (20 years ago) by a "Minister of Ministers" of the "United Church of Canada."

In our Limited experience, Canadians & Americans are Largely the SAME PEOPLE!!,p> We Do Ourselves a Disservice by "Dissing" EITHER Nationality.

"In a Pinch"--If our Lives were "On the Line,"--the Canadians & 'British (& Australians) would be the ONLY PEOPLES we could "Count On" to UNQUESTIONINGLY Give us Help. AND "Vice-VERSA!!"

Despite Their "Ill-Considered" experiments into Socialism, Canada, the British Isles, & Australia are our BEST & Truest Friends.

NEVER FORGET THAT FACT!

As the American Ambassador said in South Park the Movie, "F#&% Canada!"

BTW, Did anybody hear about Don Cherry, the announcer for Hockey Night in Canada and what he said? He said something like only the French and Europeans wear facemasks. And now he might be charged with the equivalent of a hate crime.

As must of you know I am not the strongest supporter of the current occupant of the white house, but I say this about Canada, you lost your manhood at dieppe, and when the southern border is closed the northern border can be closed also.

to the frost bitten country to the north FOAD.

The real problem Canuks and euroweenies have with President Bush:

Socialists target 'xenophobic' Bush

...snip...
At its 22nd International Congress in Brazil, the Socialist International issued a Declaration that identifies "exacerbated nationalism" and "xenophobic attitudes" as threats to peace. These threats must be overcome, they say, by assigning the security of the world to the United Nations. What socialists call "exacerbated nationalism" and "xenophobic attitudes" is actually the belief that the American system of self-governance is superior to any other system yet devised.

George Bush remembers why we fought the Cold War, and he is unwilling to surrender our sovereignty to the U.N., even if he is condemned by the world's socialists. Nor is he willing to place the security of the United States in the hands of 190 nations, most of which want nothing more than to redistribute our wealth and control our power.

This makes George Bush an obstacle to the published goals of the Socialist International, according to its president, Antonio Guterres, former socialist prime minister of Portugal. Gueterres says, "The Bush administration [is] impeding efforts to establish a new world order." Apparently, George Bush's xenophobic attitude is exacerbating nationalism.

The Democrats want the same thing the Socialist International wants – to get rid of George Bush.

We know quite a few Canadians who are as conservative as apple pie.

All is not lost yet in Canada. But you better do someting about all the Muslims you are letting in. When they get into power the "progressives" won't last long.

It always amazes that many Canadians don't know who pays for their health care miserable as it is.

It must be something in the water.

Here in western NY the hospitals are full of Canadians coming down for their surgeries - in Canada they would be dead or disabled before their names came up on a list.
