Putin pic, leaving the submarine. Not looking too happy, I might add:

I saw the comments about Putin lamenting on the good old KGB days and thought there's no need to lament> Didn't KGB just change names to FSB? LOL. Different name, same old, same old.

I never heard that story about Art Bell, what a hoot!

The beams target with great accuracy.

Right Mr. Putin?

The smell of failure is strong in his nostrils.

The fear in the crew's face is obvious.

Did you read the Yahoo article?

"May have been caused by a military satellite (U.S. I hope)
blocking the launch signal."

He now says there was not a missile launch planned.

I was actually listening to Art when he was knocked off the air. The caller was talking with real fear in his voice and running from "them" or so he said.

I might have thought "good showmanship", but it was on the National news that the satellite had its first ever problem.

I have run across reports on the Laser beams being developed as weapons.

Why in thunder couldn't I think of "Laser" 10 minutes ago???

I suspect that Lasic is a form of the Laser beam......LOL
