Gray powder irritates mailman, sent for testing

Port Charlotte -- Test results should be back today or Friday on a gray powder a mailman found on an envelope that irritated his hands and arms Wednesday afternoon.

Field tests proved negative for cocaine, chlorine or ammonia. The tests could not determine biological agents

Thinking out loud....if these were ashes of a human cremation, a human infected with a disease such as smallpox, etc. Would the virus still be transmittable?
