I just started a short contract with a large financial institution in Boston and was required to take a test on the company's Business Recovery Plan in case something very bad happened at my site. I work in the John Hancock Tower and everybody had to complete the test by Feb. 11!
Worked many contracts in downtown Boston and this the first time I had to participate in something like this.
This is a new one, there have been several over the last few days, so many it's getting really hard to keep up. I'll try to get an updated list posted later today.

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP)--The Williamstown Post Office was evacuated Tuesday morning after several postal carriers found a powdery substance in their mail, officials said.
Members of the Gloucester County hazardous materials squad entered the building Tuesday afternoon in an effort to identify the substance, according to Cathy Yarosky, spokeswoman for the U.S. Postal Service.
It could just be a coincidence- but it seems a strange day to select- in the middle of the week.
