For a few brief quarter-hours, the nation's original all-news channel CNN matched and passed audience ratings of FOX NEWS, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
Coverage of Tuesday evening's South Carolina, Missouri and other Dem primary races gave CNN 1,829,000 viewers during the 9 PM hour on the east coast, squeaking past FOXNEWS's 1,630,000. Both nets pulled a 1.6 rating, NIELSEN reports.

"NO NO NO. It was a democratic primary which most FOX viewers care nil about. Result: Fox viewers tuned off and democratic CNN viewers tuned in. SIMPLE!"
I agree; and I was one of the 'defectors' - just could not take it anymore!
Did not help to hear Britt offer that Kerry's new look was just makeup either. . .and knowing that Greta's husband is on Kerry Campaign staff. . .and then all the excited voices over these poor excuses for President called Dem candidates.
Yes, I had to leave. . .if only for a while. . .

Fox news is not tabloid journalism. They have a responsibility to report on all the issues and even though some of them seem sleezy, they still have to do it because that is the business they are in. Thats part of FNC being fair and balanced, they report on all the issues.

Never said Fox News was tabloid; only that I could barely handle the days and nights of Democrats; Democrats, as of late.
Other than that; Fox News is pretty much my all day/night channel; save when I escape to House & Garden channel; and maybe a few others on occasion :^}

Janet, Michael, Scott, Kobe ... if I hear those names, I'm grabbing the remote control. It's now an automatic reflex. You got it right.
To: Crazieman
It happend because of the Commie primary. Most commies that were interested went to the commie network.
To: Crazieman
I must concur that FOX just seems to be the National Enquirer of the cable news networks lately. I am so sick of hearing about Janet, Michael, Scott and Kobe...every time one of them sneezes, FOX is on the scene with a live reporter and pundits are on hand to tell Greta about the trajectory.
As soon as I hear the word "Peterson" on Fox, I flip to CNN.

I like your theory I didn't watch Fox or any news channel because I can't stand to look at obscene-face.

I turned to Fox last night. Commercial. Down to MSNBC. Same commercial. Down to CNN - ah, a real news story, albeit a
depressing one - the child abduction in Florida.

When you want to find out what's happening with the Democrats, go to CNN.Yep! We don't call it Clinton News Network for nothing.
