The solution is simple but unrealistic: quit watching their junk and thereby feeding the monster.

I swore off going to the movies a long time ago. True, I still see a very few TV programs (most of which I suppose is produced in Hollywood) but it doesn't matter financially since there is no financial transaction, i.e., I don't subscribe to cable or satellite TV nor do I buy products that are advertised.

Also, the TV stations do not know that I am watching. Now, if I were to be selected by one of the TV rating services, then I could make an impact.

Re my post 34, it is unrealistic in the sense that most people will continue to watch movies regardless.
