I used to have a next door neighbor who liked to park his beat up '75 pickup truck in front of my house. I complained to no avail & was becoming increasingly PO'd.

Then a couple of very drunk migrant workers in a Honda solved my problem one night by smashing the parked pickup out from in front of the house all the way up onto its owner's front lawn.

I woulda thanked them but they spoke no english.

Lock up all the scum and throw away the keys.

We could probably deport most of them.

And the fact that more have been arrested for DWI might suggest there's some bias in enforcement...

Who cares. Bust them all.

Hopefully "don't drive drunk in Texas" will work it's way through the illegal illigrant grapevine.

The word illegal isn't in the article. Way to project. ;)

Hope, hopeful, hoping are words I see too often on FR. Make some calls threatening to withhold your financial support. Get it done with a stick in your hand.

"Who cares. Bust them all."

Yes. Bust all drunk drivers.

Yeah, the California deal is NOT to enforce most traffic laws against illegals. They have no license, no real identity, no money, no insurance. Too much trouble.

One other really politically incorrect issue: It's genetic. Most Mexican illegals have a heavy component of Indian in their genetic make-up, and many AmerIndians have a genetic intolerance to alcohol, having a statistically very high chance of lacking the enzyme which eventually converts it into safer by-products. This genetic intolerance to alcohol frequently occurs in Russians, Scandinavians, and various other gene pools, too. Simply a fact of life. Anyone who has seen the seamier side of Mexico knows that are neighbors to the south seem not to be happy drinkers. Watch your step south of the border.

If your there for 'driving w/o license', the judge will let you go free, until *after* your (months away) appointment with the INS office.

They rarely show up, knowing that nothing can be done about it. They just get "new" false IDs with a different name and go on their merry way.

It would be easier to stop the flame wars if people would stop perpetuating them.

My calm reply you deleted was directed towards this...

enlarged photographs the brutally busted up, lifeless body of your family member?

What are you perpetuating, seeing that you let that stay?

He was illegal. That's one of the reasons he ran. He was also charged w/ hit and run.
