There's nothing Biblical about being able to be saved once you're dead.

Yes, once you're dead, you're judged and that's it. "It's appointed that man should die once." But maybe he wasn't dead.

That's one possibility. "Near Death Experience" is a misnomer, if these stories are accurate. It would actually be "Died and Came Back to Life" experiences.
