I know of nothing in the Bible that says you can accept Christ after death and be saved although much is said about every knee will bow etc.

and there is nothing said in the bible about folks being DEAD as soon as they flatline either. IF scripture is to be believed, LAZARUS was capable of hearing Jesus DAYS after his death. The little girl Jesus raised had been showing no signs of life for a while, when Jesus came.

There's also an old testament story about the bones of one of the prophets... elijah or elisha... some folks threw a dead body into the grave site of the particular prophet and the 'DEAD' person came back to life.

Even when folks are DEAD to us, they may not be fully DEAD to God. God can choose to draw the line where he may. And apparently, he has on occasion NOT drawn the line where we would.

There may be a period of time wherein death has NOT become final... and in all NDE's, they NDE has as far as we know come back, WITH their story... therfore, when WE thought they were dead, to God and in reality, THEY were not yet so.

Otherwise they could not have returned to consciousness.

Additionally, there is dead in trespasses and sin yet walking around sinning repeatedly; there is 'the dead bury the dead', referring to those dead in spirit burying their dead in body relatives, there is ... well, never mind. Most reading this thread don't want to open their soul's door far enough to allow light into their spirit.

WELL SAID.

Though, in general and in practical practice . . .

IT'S SANITY, WISDOM AND HORSE SENSE

To treat each moment as our potential last one to have any choice regarding eternity about, at all.

I was referring to people that are 'dead dead' not NDE. I don't see why NDE folks would not have a second chance at salvation if they were agnostic before NDE. There's just nothing in the scripture about agnostic or aetheist people having a second chance so-to-speak after they are 'dead dead' to convert to Jesus that I know of. I would suspect everyone will "convert" to Jesus once they see Him face to face and NDE folks get a peak.
