As the election approaches, Bush will:
- Continue to move closer to the Democrat position on various issues
- Move toward slightly toward the right
- Remain stationary

I have to say that Bush seems to be making the same huge mistake his father did! He is ignoring his base and trying to win over democrats. This move cost his dad the election, and it will cost Jr. the election as well, if he does not change course!
The democrats will NOT vote for him. They will never accept him, or support his programs, no matter what he does. Didn't he learn a lesson from his treatment by Ted Kennedy? He sucked up to Kennedy, paraded around with him, and called him a "nice guy"....but Kennedy was just looking for a chance to stab him in the back...and he did!
How does he think he will win an election if the Democrats and the the Republicans don't vote for him?

What I love about polling of GW is that from the day after the first poll after 911 was taken the headline is Bush poll numbers "falling" or "flat" or off his "HIGHS' or positive "BUT". Polling is just a way for the Leftists in the media to make their own news headlines.
