Next Big Game half-time, my big fantasy is to see Nanci Pelosi and Teresa Heinz-Kerry kissing.

I live in Houston too. Your right the Super Bowl is for the rich and famous. Makes me sick we Houstonians spend billions for stadiums only to sit back and watch millionaires arrive in their lear jets with the only ticket in town. So many Lear Jets they had to shut down two runways just to park them.

Leslie Moonves has just Proved that he thinks the people that watch the SuperBowl are stupid children....Puff Daddy, Kid Rock, Justin Timberlake...etc.....WHO would watch these insiped people??? No one with an IQ over 85 and an age over 25!!
Leslie Moonves.....call your office!

I don't think CBS or MTV planned this; they would found a better subject. Janet Jackson is an obvious casualty of the ongoing conflict between gravity and surgery.

Don't worry you can probably catch Janet doing the late show at Rick's tonight.

I'd like to see the FCC fine CBS for the amount of money they MADE today.

oh, i love how innocent the NFL acts. they expect me to believe that NO ONE from the NFL saw or heard about this aspect of the show. they just took MTV's word on the 1/2 hour show during the biggest game of their season? come on. they had no input? and just to be clear, i liked the half-time show. but i am a 27 year old male. i can imagine how some older people who were watching with their kids/grandkids might be offended. maybe there should have been a disclaimer at the beginning. but shame on the NFL for pleading ignorance.

Drooling for porn?
Oh, puhleeeeeze.
If it can be shown on prime time, it oughtn't be too bad for a news site.

Yeah, that's a good attitude.
Let's have "Prime Time" TV be the marker for what's decent and what's not.

"Next year, just show the f*ck!ng game, and skip the stuff for the ladies and the queer guys, OK? Is that too much to ask?"
hey, none of that stuff was presented to attract women watchers....they're after the male adolescent viewer,of which we have many here on FR.....
I would be perfectly glad to have just the football personally....just like I would be perfectly happy to have just a parade on Thanksgiving Day and not all the stupid staged presentations.....
when I was young, a football game was a football game and a parade was a parade...

Worst halftime show in Superbowl history. I agree. What's being overlooked is that prior to the Jackson/Timberlake moment of infamy, the first half of the half-time show as a display to the world of the dregs of American culture. When is anyone going to stand up and say that rap music is, by and large, the product of a degraded society?

It's not "an attitude."
It is an observation. This is a news discussion site. That pic was pretty tame by today's standards, and we are discussing it. It seems germane.
Nonetheless, your point is well taken: I don't think we can dare allow TV to be our moral arbiter for anything.
