Here kristinn, I'll keep this simple for ya.
Why don't we outlaw football, then those older folks and children who might be forced to see any more flashed breast during those pornographic half time shows can be saved...
See, Problem solved...
Seriously kristinn. Whether what happend was an accident of not is a matter of debate. Do I care, one way or the other. Not in the slightest.
Am I offended by a momentary sight of Janet's Boob? not even in the slightest.
Do I think Oprah Winfrey or Rickie Lake should be doing their shows topless? Not if they plan on keeping viewers.
Bottom line, this was a flash, whether accidental or not is irrelevant. It's not like Barbara Walters is threatening to do 20/20 every week with her breasts strapped to her waist band.
So I don't think we're gonna be seeing topless women on regular network TV for now...

Bottom line, this was a flash, whether accidental or not is irrelevant. No, it's not irrelevant.
I'm a parent, and parents have standards for raising their children. Jackson's deliberate (see my earlier posting) baring of her breast on TV before hundreds of thousands (if not millions of children) was immoral, offensive, contributing to the delinquency of minors, and almost certainly illegal as well.

And for the record, if Janet Jackson wanted to nurse a baby in the local restaurant, or just about anywhere else, I would have no problem with it as long as she did so with normal, reasonable discretion and not just as an excuse to wave her bare boobs around in public. But exposing her bare breast on national tv for "entertainment" before millions of viewers, including children and teens, was more than highly inappropriate.

Bottom line, this was a flash, whether accidental or not is irrelevant. It's irrelevant to YOU. That doesn't mean it's irrelevant to those of us who have children.
Also, IMHO, this was not a "flash."
