No, they do not. CBS has controll of the camera angles and television techical "stuff" but that's about it. But CBS should come out against it.

Give me a break. MTV and CBS are owned by Viacom. You think it's coincidence that MTV produced the halftime show when CBS had the broadcast rights? NFL may have had a say, but don't assume that CBS had nothing to do with MTV being involved.
BTW, I'm not saying that CBS knew what was going to happen. Very easy to leave a quick thing like that out of the rehearsals and throw do it in the live show.

If the NFL had any balls, they'd cancel the contract with CBS and or anyone else responsible for this fiasco ! And as an aside -- please don't tell me that Phil Sims and Gregg Gumball are the best announcers in the CBS stable...my oh my how they have fallen !!!

I heard the funniest thing,
With all the 2 point conversions yesterday, I'm surprised Justin Timberlake didn't go for two.

I think the fact that this world has become so twisted, that a message board like this is completely full of people whining because Janet Jacksons breast was flashed on national television.
Even to suggest that JT should be thrown in jail because of this is a tragedy of the mind that you even worked your brain hard enough to come up with the courage to type it.
I may be young, but since the age of 16 I have marched on Canadian parliament to fight for something that's worth my breath. And Ive also been successfully promoting in my area now for 4 years, and I know how these performers work.
They want you to do this. They LOVE the attention of all you people ogling over Janet Jacksons breast. ITS A BREAST. I think that if CBS throws a lawsuit on Jackson and Timberlake, CBS should be shut down for severe stupidity.
I live in Ontario. It's legal to be topless here. Are you all going to come here and complain because a 13 year old boy can see a piece of flesh? How about we go over to Africa and buy all the Tribal peoples clothing. We may just offend a wild monkey.
I think you should all be ashamed of yourself for even wasting the time of complaining. I hope that all the husband and wife teams that read this post are offended. I hope that all the little boys and girls of the world who saw that, know that a breast is a breast. They're going to see one soon enough anyway.
The world is coming to the point where lawyers offices are going to be placed on every corner, like Tim Hortons are placed around here in Hamilton. And it's people like you that are going to keep them in business.
Thats my piece of mind. I hope it makes you realize just how close minded you really are.
By the way - to the VET - I was offended to the fact that KID ROCK would put a hole in an American Flag. The flag is not meant to be treated like that, especially with the troops overseas right now. If anything go after him. He offended the country.
