My Husky just loves the cold weather, My Golden is nuts about the snow -- likes to burrow in it and I can't get him back when I let him out. He's hunting, hunting all the time, following rabbit and deer trails and who knows what.

My Weimaraner reacted to snow similarly. Icicles, however, she regarded as water bones.

Ah, yes I remember the good ol' day's when "Silver" would curl up in one of my Lazy Boys....well, after he now has settled down, finally, I am avidly working on replacing the 3 shredded recliners, 3 shredded couches, the carpeting that was ripped down to the floor, after I repaired the 2 3' by 3' holes dug through the Sheetrock and the hardwood stairway banisters that got the same abuse as the hardwood dinette set!

Well worth it though, for I wouldn't give him up for anything! (even my furniture)
