Why does it require a closed mind for him to just do his job - say, by increasing the number of patrollers on our own borders to the number of men he has patrolling Bosnia's borders? Seems to me he's rather closed-minded not to.
Increasing the support overseas has a much larger effect on protecting our borders to would be disrupter's of our freedoms than lining our borders hand to hand with troops. Unless of course money is no object, then we could build a dome over our 48 with doors that are guarded to allow only the welcome.
