CINCINNATI -- A woman was indicted on charges she stabbed her husband to death as he slept in bed, dressed his body and propped it up in a chair.
Investigators said Faye Harriel, 32, waited 12 hours before calling paramedics to say that her husband, Gregory Roaden, 41, wasn't breathing. Prosecutors said the bedroom and the body were cleaned with bleach.
A Hamilton County grand jury indicted Harriel on charges of aggravated murder and murder on Monday. If convicted, she could be sentenced to prison for life.
"It's one of the strangest cases we've seen," county Prosecutor Mike Allen said.
The motive for the Jan. 16 killing is not known, Allen said.
Harriel obtained a temporary restraining order against Roaden in 2001 after he was arrested on a charge of domestic violence, according to court records. The domestic violence charge was dismissed.
Neighbors told police they heard the couple arguing Jan. 15, and later saw Roaden sitting on the front porch of his Cincinnati home with scratches on his face.
Roaden repeatedly was stabbed with a steak knife about 1 a.m., police Capt. Vince Demasi said.

When you die in your sleep, do you remain asleep and just die?
Or do you first wake up, and THEN die?

You don't happen to own a pair of size-12 Bruno Magli shoes, do you? If the shoe don't fit, you must acquit.

Well, coming from Rob Zombie, it has a more maculine and authoritative affirmation tone to it.
From Dean it'd be frightening.

No, no first-hand knowledge. I'm just going by how flimsy the knife is. :-)

With all the easy divorce --- you've got to wonder what makes a couple like this stay together. I guess they really meant it when they said "until death do us part".
