This is going to sound weird but I was wondering
if it would it be possible to send a frozen cadaver
(human or other primate) on a rover and watch what
happens to it on the surface of Mars under various
conditions and inside various prototype, sealed
space suits.

I know it sounds gruesome and it's probably not possible
to preserve a body that long or prevent the bacterial contamination
NASA is so careful to avoid. Sort of like 2001 Space Odyssey.

Maybe Radio Astronomer can answer your question, but it is my understanding that NASA goes to great lengths to avoid having ANY kind of microbes or living tissue of any kind whatsoever on the Martian surface. They don't want any contamination which could mess up testing results.

I imagine that insects like cockroaches could certainly survive a trip to Mars, but doing that could open a Pandora's Box...
