President Bush's recently unveiled proposal for increased U.S. space exploration over the next 11 years is likely a political scheme to help his re-election campaign, according to this month's Teen Forum panelists.
"Bush is covering for himself," said Joe Kleppick, 17, of Greenfield, citing issues such as the economy and the war on Iraq. "I don't even think the guy knows about science."

Right. As we all know, America could never afford to fund a space mission that would cost 1 HUNDREDTH of what we spend on BIG SOCIALISM.

Sounds like the sort of reflexive, ill-informed comment I used make about everything when I was his age. I'd say to him the same thing my dad would say to me, "Whadda you know about anything, dumbass?"

The voting age should have stayed at 21. Most teens have no idea of the world or issues beyond what is on MTV. The "Rock the Vote" on MTV is a direct feed from the DNC and MoveOn.org

Ah, the wisdom of youth. It's too bad my current life challenges didn't happen to me when I was 15...afterall, I had all the answers then.

Last I knew they weren't being "enslaved" anymore. Unless you can become "enslaved" voluntarily...?
They should have set the voting and drinking age to 21 when they stopped the draft and make exceptions for those in uniform.

"They're making a big deal out of those pictures," he said. "You can see pictures of Mars in your science book."
The kid probably uses this rational when his mom catches him on internet porn sites.
