When exactly did Bush come out and say he was for making illegals, legal when he was campaigning?
Now I understand why in, the last three years, we have been invaded from the south and north.
Do you know what is happening on the border right now, since he mentioned guest worker status for illegals?
I do not live in Calif, but my heart breaks for what they have endured for the last few years, because no one else had a problem, an ignored their problem with illegals.
Do you know that the State of Calif could build a 16 room school, every day, 7 days a week, for 5 years and still be short school rooms?

When exactly did Bush come out and say he was for making illegals, legal when he was campaigning? In his campaign issue papers, in the debates and for 8 years as Texas governor.

A great deal of California's problem with illegals ,and other things, is a mostly a self inflicted wound. Too generous social welfare, an attitude of well, live and let live, and some really lunatic political moves are all contributions to said wound, I can empathsize, though ,I live in Louisiana ,a demented banana republic only proud of the fact that at least we ain't Arkansas.
