Kerry will be a good candidate for the Dems. If they're anti-war, well, Kerry was a big-time anti-war leader. If they're pro-military, well, Kerry was a war hero. And so on. The trick is, if Kerry starts to look inevitable, to pick the aspect of Kerry that they find attractive and discount the rest.
