Many people are of the opinion (myself included) that God has provided herbs for many diseases, and if we look in tradtions around the world for herbs and natural methods of treatment we can learn a lot. Not that pharmaceuticals aren't usefull and necessary, but the can be overdone (I personally am allergic to many medicines), they have a lot of side effects, they take care of symptoms primarily, not the cause of illness, and last but not least, they are expensive!

Couldn't agree more. I use a lot of herbs, spices, oils, and other natural products. "Bad things" in moderation. Never touch pharmaceuticals. Haven't been sick in 40 years. (Just lucky?)
