The anti-Bush paleo Right really blew it when they made opposition to the war the centerpiece of their agenda. As they like to say about Bush...they ruined things with their base.

Right. The paleos harken back to the grand old days of the 1930s when Hitler wasn't considered much of a threat, and we should mind our own business. Of course, being engaged from a position of strength in a dangerous world IS our business.
