Yeah, he's a try.

"Because people like to talk and get to know each other. Even at work, people like to have some kind of cordial relationships and get to know each other. It's just normal.

If I had eating problems and felt bad at myself for it, I might get bothered by people talking about great meals and great restaurants. If I was crippled and felt bad about myself for it, I would resent people talking about the fun they had playing sports over the weekend.

If I felt bad about my sexuality or lack of relationships, I would resent people matter-of-factly talking about their healthy heterosexual relationships.

In short, that guy has a chip on his shoulder.
