I fully intend to send my daughter to kindergarten this fall, and if we really want our schools back, we can get back inside, get involved and do everything we can to take them back.

OK, we really do need a reality check. This is still kindergarten, not the back alleys of Baghdad. (Which are safer that the back alleys of DC...) We don't have to go in like it's a battle zone, we just have to slowly change the culture so that the teachers of the future aren't brainwashed. It's a slow process, and I hope my daughter will be one who will stand up for her beliefs (even if they are not the same as mine) as opposed to running and hiding.
