"throwing beer cans at the TV"
As a rule they throw them at me, I am not the one to watch a game with.
Never understood why the men get all upset, when I point out that it is just a bunch of men playing 'grab as*' and if they watch, they will all roll around on ground and 'get' their kicks..............And they are always 'ready' for action, see that towel tucked into their belts!!!!!!
I am anti paid sports on TV, but would think it was great fun to go and watch "you" play.
I was blessed, Bill did not like TV sports either.

Regarding sports, thats what I see whenever I turn on Fox News or CNN. I end up getting disgusted and turning the TV off and coming back to my computer to find out what is going on in the world. I get the news twice as fast and twice as accurate (more details for sure). Like you, we are NOT armchair athletes at this house.

LOL!
We usually watch one football game per year on TV and we save it for the Super Bowl. I'd much rather be out playing our own sports!
