Sorry, can't offer my basement. We put an apartment down there for my Mom and Dad. Dad is 87 years old. World War II Veteran. He fought in the South Pacific in 1941/1943. Seventh Cavalry. Has some really great stories. He also knows how to use a gun....and his aim is still true. He and my mom are my special blessings.
My Mom is the original "Steel Magnolia" A true southern belle from Louisiana.
I'm 61 years old....but they make feel young.
Can't tell you how much is means to have them living with us. Their wisdom

Yes that is great! There are so few from WWII left. I had a WWII vet living next to me for years. He just died last year :(

I'm working for a retired 4 star general from WW2, he was under Patton. They were some of the greatest generation in my opinion. I actually am a secretary for him and caretaker for his wife when he is out or in meetings. He still plays golf and has a new business going at age 90!!
