countdown clock script
Sean,
Your "deadline" for the so-called countdown clock is inaccurate. You need to analyze the
script that runs the clock. I looked at the script of the original clock at khamya and it used the
"viewers" internal clock to derive the start time for the countdown-- thus, I've seen the
countdown clock expire numerous times by setting my computer's date/time to Feb 3,
11:59PM...
I even had the message to be displayed translated:
Al-Hamad that Al-Salihat occurs in his blessing the era Hbl fell
The clock displays that message the entire day of the 4th until midnight when the clock will
then present (in english) the words, "The event has passed".
The code used is actually a simple "copy paste" of a very popular countdown clock used
across the internet-- the final message proves that these "jihadis" are not all that sophisticated.
I'm not convinced in the least that this clock means anything. That is my personal opinion and I
don't need any convincing otherwise-- I've seen all the speculation already.
