Is that normal in Houston ? They sounded really surprised that downtown was deserted.

Anytime an area in Houston is deserted it is strange.

Yes they did sound surprised, didn't they. It used to be the terrority for skate boarders, etc., on the weekends. The last few years, alot of restaurants and bars have opened and it's a happening place to be now. Lots of glow and flow, all weekend. Probably all their patrons are at the game. I know downtown hotels have been booked for months.
