I would expect them to microchip a falcon. The process of training a falcon is pretty time consuming and they are expensive birds. When properly trained, they can be very valuable. They are falcon competitions and sporting events throughout the Middle East.
Here we microchip dogs; over there, they can't imagine why we would microchip a dog. In the middle east, if they found a falcon and wanted to find its owner, the first thing they would do would be scan for a microchip.

I'm so use to looking at the turkey vultures, falcons, hawks and eagles flying around in freedom,lol. Santa even brought wide angle field goggles for the kids to tell them apart.
