Theoretically it's supposed to be. However their pronouncements seem remarkably like the ones from George Orwell's 1984: War is peace. Freedom is Slavery. etc.

One further thing that occurs to me is that the hajj ends with "the stoning of Satan" - where the pilgrims throw stones at a large rock. The "unimaginable attack" might be connected with this somehow - that on some spiritual plane they will be invoking Allah's wrath on the US. Or it could be that they would see an attack on the US as a literal "stoning of Satan."
