Can someone summarize about the balloons? I did a search, but didn't find anything. Did someone find some contaminated balloons?

From what I remember about the ballons at Superbowl, it happened during the pregame show, I believe. It was on the outside of the stadium but they had gotten tangled in the wires in or on the NE corner of the stadium. I believe that it was being said that they had been released from either at a Shell station or close to a Shell station and that no one saw who released them or for sure when.

Frist is classy. Not politicizing this like Dashole did during the anthrax thing. However, if it takes them this long to get a grip on ricin, where would a nuke leave us? scary thoughts. THEN, they've done alot better this time around, in general. Lot quicker at identifying and getting tx., lined up.

Release from a Shell Stadium and a hotel/motel parking lot across the street from the stadium. Our conclusion at the time is that balloons would not have been the most effective means of delivering a bio/chem weapon, given the lack of control over wind conditions, obsticles, etc.

Not only is he classy but he understands the science. He explains it from a technical standpoint (which is great for those of us who understand the science too) and then he simplies for those who don't come from a scientific background. His intelligence shows. I like that. You can tell he's a medical doctor - he isn't getting frightened by the hype - he really understands what he's dealing with.

I don't get how this was allowed to proceed. I guess it's true about republicans being the country-club type for a long time. They didn't know how to fight against the enemy within.

It means that someone suspects foreign involvement, otherwise the US military cannot get involved. We'll have to wait until the text of the order is released.

When I first saw the photo, I noted my first impression and it wasn't that far from Sean's, so let it go, but think that maybe I do want to share them after all.
I saw:
Doves -first thought of the bird diseases, today would add that the Dove "spreads Peace" (or bio/germs).
The plane, we can all imagine.
The building appears more square to me than the World Trade Bldg.
To the left, it appears at first to be smoke, but could be a muslim town (remember, my eyes are bad, so I may not see the same as you).
The dead bodies, from disease, as there is no blood showing.
The nuclear blast, an old and scary threat.
The hatched wire, is chicken wire, as in cage or poultry fence. (to me).
Red background, blood.
The writing makes me think of snakes.

The thing about the castor plant is that it's a beautiful landscaping plant, though people who garden with it usually know that small children should never be anywhere near it, because of the seeds.
