I believe that they have been thwarted until now.

I hope we will be able to stop other stuff in the works.

Unfortunately, it only takes one group of these guys to slip through the cracks and cause major damage.

Will we be able to stop them all???

well, I guess until this "clock" finally gets to zero (when is that anyway, everytime I see it mentioned it seems to be further out in time), people will not relax. I still believe there is no "mega attack" in the works, but the threats of "small" attacks like aircraft and bombings are real and will be with us for a very long time. perhaps the title of this thread will have to change to:

"Al Qaeda CONTINUOSLY threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles (thread 400)"

Bill was in a German prison camp in WW2 with a group of them.

He found them to be uneducated, follow the leaders type of people and was not at all impressed.

The Sikh (sp?) India Indians, left a proud impression that lasted with him a lifetime.

I wouldn't care to be in a bomb shelter, but it would be handy for storing your supplies.

Our survival will come from being able to protect the supplies.

None of us will have enough to supply the whole area and all the escapees from other areas.

Here's what I think. The media is helping it all along.

I needed no further clue to that than this: Chris Matthews once had Evan Thomas of Newsweak on his program, and came out with the info that Evan Thomas is the grandson of the above Norman Thomas.

I wouldn't normally blame someone for the sins of his ancestors, but in this case, given the slant of Newsweak, it's not a stretch to say that Evan is helping further the old man's goals...

I think of the reformed Red-Diaper Baby David Horowitz (meaning child of communists), but then have to wonder how many others unreformed there are out there furthering the goals of communism/socialism.
