Oh Lord I forgot about that tiresome white thread/black thread thingie. Thanks.
To: Letitring
You can actually find the prayer schedules online quite easily...if you're looking for one for a specific city or country. They are typically there for the past days and a few upcoming days, as well...although they typically only vary by a few minutes at most right now.

Just got home after being away overnight, put the game on and am catching up on the posts. As to commments about not much on the news about flights this weekend, etc, has anyone wondered whether the New York dinner party that Tom Ridge attended with the news station heads discussed keeping a lid on info this weekend if things start to happen?
To: mfccinsd
Balloons released in Houston. They don't like it. per scanner.

Yes it is a terror and I'm plenty mad about it, too, I can tell ya. We need to send these Jihadist straight to Allah asap.
Balloon stuck in electricity lines, Reliant Park/Astro WOrld. East side of the stadium. They don't like it. :)

We appreciate all your good efforts -- both of you. Thanks!

Balloons...that is really low tech...the police don't like it? At least they noticed. Where are they released from?
To: Letitring
Who released the balloons? From where, inside the stadium?
To: knak
That's how they differentiate the time for things, like when fasting to end during ramadan, etc. it's supposed to be when you can no longer tell a black thread from a white thread in natural light.
To: knak
Yeah, it was something posted way back in this thread, how that exactly determine when final prayers are for that day. It's something like when it's so dark you can't tell the difference between a white or dark thread. WEIRD. Boring and off the wall, like everything else with those Jerks.

It sounds like some balloons were released from a shell service station, close to the stadium and now at least one of them is entangled in a power line on the East side of the stadium. They are not happy about it. They don't know where they came from, didn't see anybody release them. It's on the outside of the stadium, so far.
To: knak
They are REALLY looking for WHO launched them and WHERE. THinking they might have come from a hotel?
To: knak
Looks as if launched from little hotel across the street.(Home stead inn) Parking lot. No one there now at parking lot.

First set launched by the burger king at the loop, another set launched from that hotel.
To: Letitring
What's inside the balloons? Not to be paranoid, but ya gotta wonder today.
